Chuck Schumer claims real problem is too many Americans get upset when government takes their hard earned money from them
Chuck Schumer has made it clear how much he disapproves of those who prefer to keep more of their hard-earned money rather than see it spent by the government on things the American people never approved of.
Chuck Schumer attacks Americans who want to keep more of their money: "Their attitude is, 'I made my money all by myself. How dare your government take my money from me?'" pic.twitter.com/RoFmmquc8Z

It’s people like him who made the phrase “No taxation without representation” a rallying cry.
Schumer has spent his entire career in public office and has yet to work in the private sector. So not only is his salary funded by your hard-earned cash, but he also votes on the laws to take away your salary. Subsequently, he loathes anyone who gets in the way of that and if that is not a representation of the Democratic party nothing is.
I don’t have to tell you that you are over-taxed and I don’t have to tell you that the government wastes the majority of that cash but let’s get this straight. According to Schumer, wanting to keep the money you worked for makes you selfish—because obviously, the government knows how to spend it better. I guess who needs to be in charge of the fruits of your labor when the government can study trans mice, right?
Were these statements intended to win over the votes the Dems lost in the past election? Because this certainly won’t help them win over swing voters but sure, let him go off. This does them no favors and everyone should be here for it.
How out of touch can one be? Does he truly believe it's a winning strategy to mock people who despise taxes? The majority of Americans already feel like they pay more than their "fair share" in taxes, according to a Pew Research study. So while Schumer mocks anyone who gets in the way of the government's largest source of revenue, this could not be more unpopular if he tried. Thus, we can only hope that the left continues lecturing the American people on "stealing" their funds, as it will only help keep them from winning elections.
