Donald Trump is addressing America before a Joint Session of Congress this evening. It's the State of the Union Address, but they don't call it a State of the Union Address because you have to be president for a year to give a State of the Union Address. The whole thing is as silly as the political theater we call... the State of the Union Address. But that's beside the point. Trump will be talking to America, and CNN wants you to believe America is angry at Trump.

Not just Americans but REPUBLICANS are turning on Donald Trump. This is evident by the outrage being seen at town hall meetings that are of legit Republicans and not at all astroturfed by progressive special interest groups funded by progressive billionaires.

As you enjoy this clip of Scott Jennings informing the panel how chuckleheaded they sound trying to make "GOP turns on Trump" happen, the president has a +1.2 approval among ALL Americans, according to RCP.

Mind you, CNN's claims aren't backed up by CNN's own reporting.

But that's among ALL Americans. CNN wants you to believe that Republicans are unhappy with Donald Trump and are turning on him. After all, egg prices haven't fallen yet!

And before any of you start, I've already seen the screen capture some of you are sharing from Trump claiming prices would fall within three days. You got me there. A candidate for office may have exaggerated while on the campaign trail.

Republicans -- all Americans, but especially Republicans -- who voted for Donald Trump voted for him to close the border, reduce the bureaucracy, rebuild the military, undo four years of the People Who Controlled Joe Biden interjecting their radical progressive agenda into every aspect of our lives, and otherwise disrupt the way government was run. He has either done or is working on doing those things. The GOP isn't turning on him because federal employees are angry they may have to justify their jobs now.

Wages going up and the cost of living coming down will take time. Americans know that and are giving Trump a bit of a honeymoon to get those things done as long as he keeps showing he is working towards doing so, which he has been. If there haven't been any noticeable changes in two years, as we're getting ready for the midterm elections, we can revisit the argument.

Claiming that REPUBLICANS are turning Trump less than two months into his presidency is CNN wishcasting. The tens of people who watch the network might believe it. Everyone else knows better.
