Who would have thought that people could be so incredibly stupid, that they demand local officials start funding housing for foreign nationals?

Several illegal immigrants and local activists stormed Seattle City Hall to demand that the Council approve more funding to temporarily house foreign nationals.

According to The Post Millennial:

Police arrested six people after illegal immigrants and local activists disrupted a Seattle City Council meeting on Tuesday. They were bailed out by a notorious anti-police bail fund that most recently helped release a prolific offender who went on to shoot a cop.

The illegal immigrants from Venezuela and local activists marched on the steps of Seattle City Hall Tuesday afternoon and into the Council Chambers, chanting and demanding that city officials use police funding to fund temporary housing for them as the group is facing eviction from an area hotel.

Earlier this month, the City of Seattle agreed to pay for another three weeks of rooms for illegal immigrants staying at a Western Washington hotel, even though the location is not in the city limits.

Seattle City Council President Sara Nelson said during the meeting that the city has an obligation to taxpayers to provide housing for people in need in Seattle, like the area’s homeless, and that discussions about funding for illegal immigrants and refugee funding needed to happen at the county and state level because there are limited resources in the Emerald City.

It is unclear why the activists have not housed any illegal immigrants in their homes but I doubt they will be offering to assist with any of that.

These people are not even demanding that funds be allocated to assist homeless people or any other American who may be in need. For some reason, the activists are demanding that foreign nationals take priority over everything and anything else. That does not make any sense.

It’s so irritating how she is calling these people “refugees,” as if a bad economy is something deserving of that status. At one point in time, refugee status was something this country took very seriously. Now it’s even more common than handing out candy on Halloween.

And how spoiled and narcissistic does one have to be to demand “free housing"? Do these people think they are so incredibly special, that we are lucky to be gifted with their presence? Because we are the farthest thing from lucky that they are here, and it’s incredibly infuriating that “migrants'' cross the border with self-entitled aspirations and don’t even expect to lift a finger. But it’s worse than that because now we see them demanding free things instead of just expecting them.

But one day these people will realize that nothing in life is free. And hopefully, they won't let the door hit them on the way out.
