Home Invader Gets Fatal Surprise When he Meets the Armed Home-owner...
Here's a life lesson you can make into a pretty meme: If Thou Does Not Want to Get Shot, Thou Shalt Not Break Into Another's Home To Steal Someone Else's Crap. Or If thou dost not wanteth to die, don't be a butthead... or at the end of a gun barrel. But my favorite is probably this one: When considering breaking and entering into a home which doesn't belong to you, be sure you do not face an armed home owner, who may, if they feel so called, shoot you dead.
Mitchell confirmed that the man was attempting to break into the home when he was shot.Though the investigation is ongoing, Mitchell said it appears at this point that the homeowner shot the intruder to protect his family.
“Ultimately, we are still in the very early stages to determine what happened here, but it’s unfortunate to have someone lose their life, ” Mitchell told WDRB. “And it’s unfortunate that a homeowner has to take action as they see fit.”
“I’ve been here 23 years, and we’ve never had anything like this before,” Tom Vessels, who lives across the street from the home, told WDRB. “They’re real nice people. They’ve never caused any trouble.”
Of course not. Real nice people want to continue being real nice people by living. So when a punk breaks into their house, they have every right to pull their real nice triggers on their real nice guns, to dispatch the really not nice creeper who broke into their house.
Fearing for your real nice life, that's a good reason to drop someone. This instance certainly isn't the first, even for this week. Just recently a woman in a parking garage, also in Louisville, busted a cap in a would-be mugger. Because here's a hint: someone who broke into your house probably isn't there to share a cup of tea. Just spitballing.
Home invasions, self defense, self-preservation, protecting your property, those are all good reasons to have a gun. Also all good reasons for the Second Amendment. Because of both, this family is safe. It's also why the intruder is super dead. Or it's because he didn't have the internet memes telling him home-owners with guns might cap you. Get on that, leftists.
This is usually where liberals say, "But, we don't want to take away self defense! Gun control is only about the gun show loophole! Yargle blargle!"
Yeah, about that...
