For the record, I don't watch kids movies. I'm more into the classics. Like Bullitt, Cool Hand Luke, or Dirty Harry. Though, despite a seeming lack of ultraviolent shootouts, The Secret Life of Pets 2 doesn't appear to be without its charms.

Looks to me like it's a nice family film. I see nothing wrong with it, though apparently leftists do. If you think their criticisms of the movie-film will be within the realm of common sense, think again.

The Secret Life of Pets 2… effectively acts as an animated ode to heteronormativity, toxic masculinity and patriarchal worldviews.

Yes, hetero-types getting married and having children is now a "conservative" thing. Kind of shows how far out the left has gone.

Though, the dumbassery isn't over yet:

In case it wasn’t obvious, Pets 2 makes no attempt at diversifying the notion of what a family is today. No same-sex couples are in sight as pet owners, much less as parents.

I'm curious to know where this rule about every movie being required to have an LGBTQRS2.14$*^& subplot is written.

Rooster is the embodiment of phrases like “Men don’t cry,” and ” Rub some dirt on it.” This alpha dog rejects vulnerability by preaching about how sissified city dogs are. The character is disturbing in his unapologetic validation of behavior society as a whole is trying to eradicate.

"Society as a whole?" I guess the left is claiming to speak for all of us now. Either that, or those of us who don't fit into their box are no longer a part of "society."

On the bright side, at least we now have a list of things the left finds bad: Men liking vaginas, men marrying women, and men being men. All because the movie didn't have a "strong, independent non-binary sheepadoodle who don't need no man."

This is a kiddie movie. Though, in the eyes of lefties, movies are nothing more than a canvas for their subliminal messaging. They admit to it when they pollute their reviews with this dumbassery.
