Sen. Joni Ernst on Being "Only American" Not Caring About Stormy Daniels
Leftists are shocked Americans haven't any craps to give for Stormy Daniels (see Stormy Daniels Will Donate Settlement Money to Planned Parenthood and Meghan McCain Calls Out Stormy Daniels: ‘Seems Like Publicity Stunt’). Especially leftists in media. The real snooty ones. Who only leave DC and NYC when they need a "let's see free-range Trump supporters in their natural habitat" stories.
Segue: John Heilemann was in Iowa for his show "The Circus." He was shocked and awed that Iowa Senator Joni Ernst has other things on her mind besides where Trump stuck it several years ago.

SEN. ERNST: I guess I can't comment because I don't know the timeline, and I'm not really following Stormy Daniels.HEILEMANN: Really?
SEN. ERNST: No.
HEILEMANN: You're the only American who's not.
SEN. ERNST: Yeah, and thank God I'm not because I'm actually focused on my job, which is in the Senate.
It's not just die-hard Trump Humpers who don't care. I'm at best a Trump agnostic. Him being the kind of guy who would bang a pornstar while his third wife was home with their newborn was one of the reasons I wrote in Harambe (#NeverForget) in 2016. More people disagreed and voted for him. Unlike the recreationally outraged left, I'm not going to stay angry about it for a year and a half.
Especially when over that time the economy is humming along, ISIS is being defeated, and Trump is showing nutjobs like Kim Jong-Un that this is his yard now. I'm not displeased with Trump, is the point.
Also, I *might* care more about Daniels if the media didn't hype up everything negative thing like the worst thing to happen to America since Nancy Pelosi's third facelift. That's on you, cable news.
