Seth Meyers Advocates for Socialism, Declares Billionaires Immoral
Well, it looks like Hollywood lefties are going all-in on socialism. Smug late-night douchenugget, Seth Meyers must be chugging the Kool-Aid backstage. Comrade Seth wants you to know it's immoral for billionaires to exist while people have to pay for their healthcare.
See for yourself:
"The reason they're all freaking out about Medicare for all is because they know it makes basic sense to people. Most people don't care whether it's called socialism, or capitalism, or whatever, they just know it's inherently unfair for mega-billionaires to hoard their wealth while millions of Americans don't even have health care. Ocasio-Cortez made that point in an interview recently, and a Fox News guest mocked her for it."In his Fox News clip from The Story on January 22, Ocasio-Cortez argued that "A system that allows billionaires to exist when there are parts of Alabama where people are still getting ringworm because they don't have access to public health is wrong."
Well, seeing as having "hoarding" greenbacks is such an immoral thing, I think I'll be tweeting Seth Meyers my PayPal information. You should do the same. After all, the $10 million he's worth is far too much money for any one person to have.
Sorry, but I have a hard time taking millionaires who lecture us on the evils of money seriously. It's okay for them to have money. The rest of us need to recognize it as the root of all evil and hand it over to the government.
At least in a capitalist system healthcare is always available. If you're willing to pay for it, of course. In a socialist system, you run the risk of spending your hospital stay in the bathroom. If the emergency room doesn't tell you to scram while you're dying, of course. God help you if you need a simple leg operation. They'd sooner just saw the leg off and be done with it.
That's a pretty big price to pay for "free" healthcare. I think I'm gonna pass on that:
