Have you ever heard or read something that is so absurdly wrong it made you want to pull out your hair and scream because it was that stupid of a statement? Well, get ready because that is what you are about to read.

According to The New York Post:

"San Francisco Supervisor Dean Preston claimed the city’s homelessness problems were 'absolutely the result of capitalism,' and it was 'counterproductive' to arrest people openly doing drugs.

Preston’s District 5 includes the Tenderloin District, an area known for its open-air drug market. Nearly half of the city’s homeless population lived in this district in 2022, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

The Democratic Socialist supervisor argued his district was particularly affected by homelessness because of the country’s economic structure."

The reason this man was elected is because of two reasons. One is because there are more often than not, people who are allowed to vote in San Fransico that are as dumb as him. The other reason is that the people who are "homeless" and engaging in this "open-air drug market" can also vote. So why would they not vote for someone who condones and enables their degenerate and disgusting behaviors?

Now, whether Preston is very stupid and ignorant, or just an evil liar, is unclear at the time. But I think it is safe to assume he holds all three traits very close to his heart.

I know, you know, your grandma knows, and your dog knows that Capitalism absolutely does not cause a zombie apocalypse to occur. Most people reading this know that it is the only economic system to have lifted countless amounts of people out of poverty. But officials in San Francisco don't like to let facts get in the way of things.

“The biggest driver of why folks are on the street is because they lost their jobs, income or were evicted from their homes, usually for not being able to pay the rent. So you have major landlords literally causing folks to lose their homes, and real estate speculation making it impossible for folks to find an affordable place to live,” he said, according to the Post.

Yes, he said that landlords did this to The Paris of the West. It was the fault of greedy property owners that caused all those degenerates to be addicted to fentanyl and defecate on the street. It is because of the cost of rent that made San Fransico the poop capital of the world.

What makes his statements worse is that he not only condones the behavior of these drug addicts, but he blames THEIR behavior on lawful landlords who provide a public good and contribute to society. Their behavior is everyone else's fault and they should never be held accountable for their actions. That is the actual thought process officials in San Fransico use.

If Capitalism did all that to San Fransico, then why are most cities in the US not infested with poop?

This is why we have the term "painfully stupid." These statements literally hurt, as it is not possible to comprehend this level of ignorance.
