Currently, San Francisco is suffering from a zombie apocalypse and one symptom of that is a theft epidemic. Things have gotten more and more brazen by the day. Even just getting out of your car for 30 minutes to go shopping significantly increases your risk of being the victim of property crime. Subsequently, things like working on your laptop at a coffee shop are no longer the status quo, because at that point it’s like you’re BEGGING to be robbed. Nonetheless, we shall not victim blame even though someone did just that. But there is a plot twist, which is why this article exists.
A would-be laptop thief did what all San Francisco thieves do, commit brazen theft in broad daylight. But people can only take so much of this, this is why they didn’t just sit back and record for content this time. They chased the pathetic thug like the imbecile he is.
Customers stop would-be laptop thief at San Francisco cafewww.youtube.com
The guy just walks in, like it's any other Tuesday. He thinks to himself, "Should I enjoy some coffee before robbing innocent people? This will just be another walk in the park, after all." Well, it turns out the wannabe gangster was wrong and it's a shame that we can almost guarantee he won't learn his lesson. It's probably safe to assume he was released within an hour and he probably stole someone's laptop within minutes of that. But that's a guess, he may have waited 24 hours before attempting more grand theft, as the amount of time is uncertain at this point. Unlike the fact that he will commit more crimes, that is almost certain at this point.
The San Francisco Police Department says a man ran into a Sana’a Cafe, grabbed a laptop and ran. But a man named Henry Flynn was right outside. He tackled the alleged thief to the ground and held him there until police arrived. When the government has essentially given the people the finger, obviously things like this will slowly become the status quo. Currently, criminals are emboldened and enabled to do as they please. But the only way this stops is when they feel intimidated to do so. And if the government could care less about that, it seems as if the people may or may not start taking it into their own hands.
“It literally felt like everyone inside the cafe was screaming,” Flynn told KRON4.
Flynn was enjoying a cup of coffee outside the cafe, located at 199 New Montgomery St., Saturday evening when he said he saw a man running out with a laptop. Flynn works as a security guard, so he says it felt natural to take matters into his own hands.
“I see myself representing the silenced majority of the city – the working class, the bread and butter of the city. I think what we need right now is the same thing that happened at that cafe where everyone came together. We need that citywide. We need everyone coming together who’s invested in the heart and soul of the city,” he said.
San Francisco is the perfect example of what happens when progressives start treating criminals as victims and victims as criminals.
