If you want a preview of what single payer health care looks like, here you go. A UK judge, not to be confused with a doctor, gave Charlie Gard's parents two days to prove their son should be kept alive. Otherwise, lights out.

A British judge told the parents of terminally ill baby Charlie Gard Monday that they had until Wednesday afternoon to submit what he called "new and powerful evidence" demonstrating that their son should be kept alive to receive experimental treatment.

Judge Nicholas Francis set the deadline ahead of a second hearing planned for Thursday afternoon at the Royal Courts of Justice in London following a dramatic day in a case that has attracted the attention of Pope Francis and U.S. President Donald Trump, who tweeted last week that if the U.S. could help, “we would be delighted to do so.”

So while leftists claim conservatives want to kill people (see Bernie Sanders Says TrumpCare is Worse Than 9/11 and Republican Families Should Suffer, Die Because of Trumpcare), leftists are planning for a sick baby die. Again, a JUDGE, not a doctor, not the parents of this child, is sentencing Charlie Gard to death. Because the judge doesn't want the national healthcare system to fund Charlie's treatment. This is the problem when government pays for healthcare. Government gets to decide who lives and who dies. Government looks at human lives and assigns them a monetary value. But hey, at least it's free, right?

Incidentally, the parents of Charlie Gard have raised over 1.3 million pounds in private donations to pay for Charlie's healthcare themselves. They even want to take Charlie out of the UK to a country with experimental treatments to at least try to save their son's life. Specifically the United States. The UK COURT SYSTEM is telling them to go fornicate with themselves. This is national healthcare. Someone ask Bernie Sanders for comment.

Also, if you think Charlie is a one-off, LOL at you. Charlie's parents have PR smarts. But how many other babies have been sentenced to death because the NHS would rather not foot the bill? Sleep tight. But take this pain pill first, it'll send you to death more humanely. Right, leftists?
