Simon Cowell Funds English Dancer's USA Surgery. Because National Healthcare SUCKS!
Leftists always claim single payer healthcare gets a bad rap, much the same way they say "socialism hasn't been done right" (see Single Payer Healthcare BANNED Obese Patients from Surgery and Single Payer ‘Success’? UK Hospital Refuses to Treat Dying Cyclist). In reality, socialized medicine is as awesome as hemorrhoids.
So here's a positive story. Simon Cowell stepped up while the NHS (the UK's National Health Service who recently let Charlie Gard slip away) failed. Which means Simon was the single payer. He paid to fly a dancer to the United States to have surgery, because the NHS in Britain wouldn't. Get it? HE was the single payer!
Folks, these are the jokes.
Seriously, though. Good on him for this.
A BRITAIN’S Got Talent finalist yesterday praised Simon Cowell from her US hospital bed – after he paid £175,000 for her life-changing surgery.Julia Carlile, 15, revealed last April on the show that without surgery in America on her spinal condition scoliosis she will never dance again.
Now Julia has revealed on social media that both her operations have all worked, she is recovering and will dance again after all.
Without the £175k operation, not available in the UK, Julia would be unable to continue her passion of dancing.
The operation, called vertebral body tethering, involves screws being fixed along a cord inside the back.
The recovery time is just six weeks and the operation is reversible if it does not work – but sadly it is not currently available on the NHS.
Had Julia undergone NHS surgery, she would have had an operation which involved fusing the spine with metal rods – leaving her unable to dance.
Let Stephen Miller break it down all snarky like. It's fun, I promise:

But single payer is wonderful, won't affect service or choice or doctors or availability, and if you disagree you're a racist who hates women.
See, what socialist shills always omit in their "FREE HEALTHCARE FOR ALL" chants is the quality of that care. It sucks. The NHS was fine just fusing the spine of a 15-year-old girl. Socialist snot goblins who get erections over single payer are also fine with fusing her spine. They care not about the quality of the care, but that "care" is free and "available" for all. With the cherry on top of government getting to decide who to care for, who not to care for, and when to stop caring for them altogether. See also poor Charlie Gard, now deceased.
Notice that this girl needed to come to the United States to receive the BEST care, which wasn't free. See how that works? Free care is not good. Good care is not free. It's the kind of logic leftist dinglenobs hope you ignore.
You should also ignore all articles like these that show single payer for what it actually is: a socialist suck fest of painful suffering.
