This past week has been rough: terrorist attacks in Europe (see Van Mows Down Pedestrians in Barcelona Terrorist Attack and Man Goes on Stabbing Rampage in Finland Screaming "Allahu Akbar!"), nazi-Antifa wars aplenty, and now a string of police shootings all within hours of each other.

Six cops were shot last night. Details below.

Six police officers were shot, one of them fatally, in three separate incidents in Florida and Pennsylvania late Friday, officials said.

One officer was killed and another gravely injured in Kissimmee around 9:30 p.m., just south of the theme park hub of Orlando, central Florida. Officers Sam Howard and Matthew Baxter were checking suspects in an area of the city for drug activity when they were shot. They did not have an opportunity to return fire. "They were surprised," [Police Chief] O'Dell said. When asked whether they were ambushed, he said, "It's too early to tell, but it's leading that way."

Two officers were critically wounded in Jacksonville ... responding to a call about an attempted suicide at a house. Before officers even entered the house, the suspect began shooting at them through the doorway. [T]wo officers were struck, one of them in the stomach.

Two state troopers were shot in Fayette County, Pennsylvania ... after an incident near a store on West Church Street, Fairchance.

This is the reality many of our officers deal with on a daily basis. Clocking in at work with the possibility of never coming back home. They risk widowing their wives (or husbands), and leaving their children with one less parent all in the name of maintaining law and order, peace and safety. Yet social justice gas bags have decided to wage all out war on the police while claiming they're the ones who are peaceful.

Notice how it's leftists who write off all police officers as "pigs," destroy their memorials, organize riots, incite anti-cop violence. But at the end of the day, these are the same people desperately clinging to victimhood and parading themselves around in giant anti-cop cryfests. The real victims here? Anyone who loves a police officer. Law enforcement families. Children of cops.

Anti-police rhetoric is reaching a fever pitch (see Police Officer Deaths up 1,000 Percent This Year... Surprised?), but these men and women still put themselves on the line to protect their communities. And they do so sans bitching and whining when they - of all people - have every right to complain.

Kudos to our law enforcement officials. Feel free to take notes, leftists.
