Watch: Woke Sky News reporter asks dumbest question in history of journalism over Israel-Hamas hostage exchange
Congratulations to Kay Burley of Sky News. While polls remain open until Christmas break, pending something really mindnumbing, Kay will be the 2023 Louder with Crowder Dot Com Website Dumbest Journalismer of the Year. There are shades of antisemitism here too. A dog whistle, if you will. But why assign bigotry when being a nincompoop will do?
Here's a hint. This was the reaction to the gentleman she asked the question of:
We've started the part of the end of the year where all the days blend together, plus like many of you, I'm still coming out of a pie and bourbon-induced coma. I'm sure this is a gross simplification, but over the past few days, Israel and Hamas worked out a cease-fire so hostages could be freed. Hamas would free 50 hostages in exchange for Israel freeing 150 prisoners. PRISONERS. A 1:3 hostage to PRISONER ration. This is a key factoid for you to hold on to.
To keep with Thanksgiving tradition in the States, Hamas might be Indian-giving on the deal.
Sadly, when it comes to freeing hostages, the good guys tend to have to give up more than the bad guys. Israel, in order to free kidnapped women and children, is willing to give back three PRISONERS for everyone hostage. Again, PRISONERS. People captured on the battlefield and prevented from killing more people.
Here is how Kay Burley framed that while interviewing Eylon Levy, the Israeli Government Spokesman: "I was speaking to a hostage negotiator this morning. He made the comparison between the 50 hostages that Hamas has promised to release, as opposed to the 150 prisoners that are Palestinians that Israel has said it will release. And he made the comparison that between the numbers and the fact that does Israel not think that Palestinian lives are valued as highly as Israeli lives?"
You can't make this up:
@SkyNews: “Israel is releasing 150 Palestinian prisoners in return for 50 hostages. Doesn't it mean that Israel thinks the lives of Palestinians are valued less than Israelis?” 🤣

Israeli government spokesman, @EylonALevy's face is priceless 😳— (@)
Look how super serious she is too.
Levy's answer was simple. While his eyes said, "you f*cking moron," and his brain wondered, "am I being pranked," his words pointed out what a ridiculous question that was. And if they could go 1:1 in exchange, they would. But, and this is key, that would require Hamas to RELEASE MORE HOSTAGES, which they refuse to do.
Burley comes across as a real piece of work in general.
Congratulations to Ms. Burley. If there is a dumber question or comment made by a journalismer this year, it would be astounding. And probably have to do with Joe Biden.
