Watch: College student threatened by peers over pro-life views needs security guard for safety
Ah, the tolerant, nonviolent, peaceful pro-choice movement. Who just threatened a college student's life for not wanting to kill babies. Classic.
Skylar Culbertson attends The College of William and Mary in Virginia and recently hosted a table with Tribe for Life, a campus pro-life group. At this event, she obviously advocated for pro-life ideas. So pro-abortion students proceeded to dox and threaten her.
Skylar explained on The Ed Morrissey Show there were several students using a platform called Yik Yak to communicate about her location. Like, "Skyler is here at this coffee shop, she’s at the science center." You know, totally rational, normal things to be concerned about.

Skylar even infiltrated a Planned Parenthood group chat of students, where she found they were posting photos of her Instagram and exchanging her personal information. It got so bad, she needed a security guard present during an abortion presentation in class.
She explained the political environment of the school with an example. Her group chalked pro-life messages on campus, and one of them was about the high abortion rate of babies with down syndrome. She said within 10 minutes of doing so, the chalk was immediately erased because the students were so incredibly triggered by this fact.
She also said the reaction from the pro-abortion crowd has become increasingly violent and extreme since the Dobbs decision leak. She gets tons of hateful direct messages and students are no longer willing to have any conversations at all.
So this is all not great news, to say the least. But the funny part is, Skylar said the extreme reactions of her peers has actually made her more conservative: "I was like, oh my gosh, indoctrination is not just a right-wing talking point — it’s real! And ever since then, I pretty much changed. Now I consider myself pretty much like a MAGA Republican, about as far right as you can get, all thanks to the craziness of William and Mary and the liberals.”
As it turns out, if you're looking to change people's minds, threats and violence are actually not the way to go. Who woulda thought.
