SNL Lampoons Liberals Trying to Have an Aziz Ansari Conversation
For a group of people more "enlightened" than you or me, progressives seem incapable of having an even mildly nuanced conversation. The same way Harvey Weinstein is incapable of holstering his trouser-snake in the presence of a busty blonde. Exhibit Q in our case is the topic of Aziz Ansari (see Samantha Bee Defends ‘Grace’ Attacking Aziz Ansari, What She Gets Wrong. and #MeToo Fail: Even the NYT is Defending Aziz Ansari).
SNL decided to have a little fun with the Aziz case, at the left's expense.

Take note of the dinner partiers' inability to break from politically correct orthodoxy. You and I both know what group of "people" they are mocking: Prius-driving, gluten-free urbanites who perpetually "Feel the Bern." Not that our side can't be the same way. Good luck trying to initiate a nuanced conversation about the Trump.
This sketch speaks not just to Aziz, but also to #MeToo and #TimesUp in general. Something as simple as "x is sleezy, but y is much sleezier" causes leftists to throw an atomic bitch fit. Like Amy Schumer when someone else scoops up the last Toll House. Sure, Aziz may be a creeper with pitiful game. But maybe, just maybe, the woman shouldn't have gone up to his apartment?
It's reached the point where it's not even worth talking about important issues like this anymore. To paraphrase Dave Chappelle:
"We need to do more to protect women from predator--""YOU TOUCHED SOMEONE'S ASS ONCE."
"I'm out. Y'all are on your own."
If we can't have honest conversations without an over-sensitive crybaby getting his Pampers in a twist, we're never going to fix these sorts of problems. Running away from the truth ensures the issue will remain unresolved.
