Mocking the way leftists soil themselves in response to Donald Trump is low hanging fruit, I know (see Top 5 Anti-Trump Feminist Meltdowns and The Young Turks Post-Election Meltdown). Delicious, ripe fruit that needs to be picked and possibly made into a nice wine, but low hanging none the less. Hence why even SNL was able to mock them (yes, THAT SNL) using an adorable puppy.

Sometimes SNL gives us the chuckles... Other times, not so much. It's usually the latter (see Meh. SNL Totally Misses With Kellyanne Conway Skit). But this time they managed to hit the funny bone just right. For instance...

“What about his record on women’s rights? Don’t you want me to have a choice over my own body?”

“You didn’t afford me a choice when you cut off my balls!”

My doggy, my choice? Step aside, feminist wildebeests. I foresee a new movement coming soon. By the way, leftists? It must feel rather embarrassing when comedy writers who agree with you publicly can destroy your political arguments with a dog in a silly sketch.

Methinks the majority of Saturday Night Live's current staff is rather left leaning. But even leftists themselves are growing tired of the all the rampant anti-Trumpness. We're seeing more and more people speaking out against social justice warriors' anti-Trump protests and riots (see Shaquille O'Neal to Anti-Trump Protesters: Time to Move On). Which is why comedy snippets like this are so satisfying.

Look, we know it's not the funniest thing we've ever written about on this website. That would be this creature. But one has to admit SNL got a few things right here.

Then again... Dogs always make everything better. The puppy totes carried that cast.
