'South Park' Skewers Constant Liberal Social Media Outrage
Yes, we all remember when Trey Parker said a thing about not going after Trump. But like most episodes of South Park, there are a number of different things happening. Also, they were going after "The President" because Mr. Garrison is still president, and it would be a crime not to make jokes about that.
Most of the left and media (there I go again repeating myself) are going to focus on South Park satirizing Trump needing to put his phone down. Most Trump supporters probably got easily triggered after five minutes and ran to their safe space with their "Are you there, Trump? It's me, Margaret" coloring book.
But there was also a story about everyone overreacting to every little thing, and letting feelings get in the way of facts.
Tweek: WELL THERE YOU GO AGAIN PREACHING FACTS TO ME. IT'S NOT WHAT I NEED!Craig: Well I'm sorry I'm actually in control of my god damned emotions.
Don't get it twisted, we're all still pro sabre rattling here when it comes to NoKo and Rocket Man (see General Mattis Releases Chilling Statement for North Korea and Tough Talk Works! North Korea Backs Down from Guam Threat). And all but the most obsessed in their MAGA underwear can admit Trump should put the phone down occasionally and get back to work.
But overreacting to the sabre rattling? Acting like the world needs to stop every time Donald Trump tweets a thing? The media going out of their way to scare you because yargle blargle, none of this is normal? None of this is helpful to anyone.
Also, it's okay to put your phone down on occasion and enjoy the real world.
