Our long, national, three-week nightmare is over. There is a new Speaker of the House. It's Rep. Mike Johnson of Louisiana. And I know some of you are thinking, "Wait... the guy who thinks Guam will tip over is the new speaker?" No, you're thinking Rep. Hank Johnson. The Democrat Johnson. Our Johnson is bigger.

But who is Rep. Mike Johnson? The crack research team here at the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website has been working around the clock digging into Johnson's past and his record, to find out what makes him tick. They've assembled this report on everything you need to know about Speaker of the House Mike Johnson.

Johnson pledges to be firm and hard on the following:

It's normal, boilerplate conservatism. Election-denying Democrats like Democrat Minority Leader Hakeem Jefferies were counting on a Speaker they could demonize as the devil incarnate. As CNN's Glori Borger points out, Democrats (and the media, but I repeat myself) have their demonizing work cut out for them.

"He's a serious person, who is not prone to getting in big, huge fights with people. He is known as a listener, I was told. He is hugely conservative, but he doesn't wear it on his sleeve all the time. So he can get along with moderates and listen to them. And it will be interesting to see what happens with Ukraine aid, for example. But, you know, he’s not the devil incarnate."

Not that the media isn't trying to demonize him anyway. MSNBC's Nicole Wallace, such a horrible human being that it was John McCain's dying wish she not be allowed at his funeral, claims Johnson is no better than Jim Jordan. He just wears a blazer.

A memo went out. That's the lines they came up with.

How Johnson performs from here is to be determined. There is a belief that the main job of the Speaker of the House is to release the J6 tapes and lead Joe Biden out of the White House in handcuffs himself. In actuality, the main job of the speaker is to raise money to hold congressional seats and elect new members of Congress. It is to be determined if Johnson can rise to the occasion.

But hey, if nothing else the media will stop making fun of us because we voted too many times to elect a new Speaker of the House.
