Landlord can't get squatter evicted after not paying rent for THREE YEARS, and of course the Democrat run city won't help
It’s unclear if local officials in New York City have heard of this little thing called “private property rights,” but that’s doubtful, as one struggling landlord has been trying to evict a nightmare tenant who has not paid rent since 2021.

Is this how her mama raised her? And did anyone else get irritated by how she left the front door open? Because the entitlement could not be more evident, and no more proof is needed to show this woman is not about treating other people or their property with respect.
The fact that “tenants” can push these court hearings into perpetuity automatically sets the system up for failure against the landlord. However, she should not be this entitled in the first place, but that is exactly how local Dems have set it up.
The reason why people pay thousands of dollars in rent for rat-infested apartments is that the left has made a mockery of the rental system, and mom and pop landlords pay the price more than anyone else.
What would be the solution that the city hopes for? It's not like everyone will be better off if the landlord is forced to go bankrupt, but it's not like these Socialist scum actually care about any of that.
This is also what happens when you declare housing a right, as you can't really make inanimate things rights without stealing them from someone else. So while this man struggles to make ends meet, the squatter is rewarded for being a trashy individual, and to say the city has its priorities backwards would be an understatement.
