Starbucks announced they are closing 150 stores. The company is also looking to new areas to open franchises. The "where" in both cases is hysterical. As the Godfather of the Conservative Blogsphere, HotAir's Ed Morrissey highlighted:

Though I'm not entirely sure how the company will fare in middle America. We don't like high taxes. But we also don't like spending five bucks for a cup of coffee.

Starbucks is free to do what it wants. But bear in mind, Starbucks has long virtue signaled leftist talking points, emitting them like beams of light a la Care Bear Stares. Now it seems those policies it supported are biting it in the financial tochus.
