People still have their panties in a twist over the Starbucks incident. In case you missed it, two men were arrested for sitting in Starbucks without ordering anything. The outrage comes because they had dark skin. Maybe the barista really was a racist -- that's for Starbucks to figure out and deal with. Meanwhile, social justice dolts are boycotting the business.

Well, turns out the company is dealing with it now. By forcing thousands of their stores to undergo special "don't be a racist" training.

Perhaps a tad overkill.

Starbucks plans to close more than 8,000 locations next month so employees can receive racial bias education after two black men were arrested at one of the chain’s stores, the company announced Tuesday.

Training would aim to address implicit bias, teach employees how to prevent discrimination and promote conscious inclusion. Employees will receive the training on and the stores will close for the afternoon of May 29.

An appropriate response would have been to investigate the incident and hold the employee responsible for any wrongdoing. Maybe issue a statement. Instead, Starbucks is scrambling to maintain their #wokeness in a sorry display of desperation.
