New York City, and by default the New York state government, is a socialist paradise thanks to the millions and millions of low-information progressives, who are easily manipulated by social issues, living on top of each other in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Cross the bridge over into Staten Island (aka Shaolin), it's pretty based. The media found that out the hard way when they tried pulling their "Republicans should worry about their rhetoric" crap at a press conference addressing the Republican presidential candidate who survived an assassination attempt.

Apologies for not being able to name everyone in these clips. The cat in the maroon polo is Councilman Joe Borelli, and the guy in the striped tie standing to the right is Councilman David Carr. Shout out the New York State Young Republicans!

I mean, if the media wants to talk about rhetoric, let's talk about rhetoric.

This didn't start with Trump. Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) claim every Republican candidate is going to destroy democracy. George W. Bush was literally Hitler and was going to shred the Constitution like it was a paper napkin.

Every policy disagreement with Barack Obama was called racism, and occasional sexism and homophobia.

If you disagree with any piece of progressive legislation, like Net Neutrality, you want people to literally die.

Joe Biden, the f*cking president, doesn't just attack Donald Trump. He attacks Americans who vote for and support Donald Trump. "MAGA Republicans" are called an existential threat to the country. Then Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) label anyone who disagrees with them on an issue as a MAGA extremist.

For the past 15-20 years, the Left and the media (but I... you know, the thing) have done nothing but encourage and inspire hatred and intolerance toward anyone who disagrees with them about anything.

As a friend on X-Twitter eloquently said: "Progressive activists go on cancel crusades. They overtake corporate boards and philanthropic groups. They riot. They destroy stuff. They intimidate people. They sue. They blockade buildings and airports. They harass families at their homes and people out to dinner. And they just don’t quit. "

Then when something like an assassination attempt on a Republican presidential candidate happens, they still blame the Republicans. And then act confused when another poll comes out that lists journalism as the least trusted institution in America.

Any time anyone on the left says we need to "lower the temperature" or "watch our rhetoric," there is only one response.
