MAHA for the win! Another popular fast food chain is ditching seed oils, will now make their fries in beef tallow
By the 1990s, McDonald's jumped off the beef tallow bandwagon and took up the highly processed seed oil game. And since then, it has been nearly impossible to find a restaurant that still cooks in this wonderful fat. However, never underestimate the effect of MAHA, as big things are already happening.
Earlier this week, the FDA finally decided that several decades is long enough and announced that it will ban Red Dye 40. I guess we could say better late than never, but these people clearly don’t act in the interest of your health, as proven by the fact that they waited decades before they pretended to care.
On Thursday, Steak 'n Shake announced that its fries will be cooked in 100% beef tallow by the end of February. To say this is the best news of the week would be an understatement.
Steak n Shake to Use 100% Beef Tallow. No Cap.

According to Fox News:
"Our fries will now be cooked in an authentic way, 100% beef tallow, in order to achieve the highest quality and best taste," Chris Ward, chief supply chain officer for Steak 'n Shake, said in a statement.
"The consumer wants the best and deserves the best," Kristen Briede, the chain's chief global development officer, said in a statement.
The switch to beef tallow will ensure that Shake 'n Shake "is delivering the best fries possible," she said.
Steak ‘n Shake asked the people what they wanted and gave it to them.
Steak 'n Shake had earlier teased the transition to beef tallow on its X account. Three days before the announcement, Steak 'n Shake posted a poll asking "Cook Fries in 100% Beef Tallow?"
More than 90% of respondents voted "yes," but it was unclear for how long the poll was open.
No one eats fries for health so if anyone complains about beef tallow then they are a total buffoon who deserves to be mocked into oblivion. Not only does it taste better and is an actual food product, unlike vegetable oil, which contains zero vegetables, it also has several health benefits.
So while America slowly becomes healthy again, we can only hope more and more restaurants ditch the highly processed seed oils and give the people what they need and deserve!
