Stephen Colbert Makes Anti-Trump Christmas Cartoon
There are some who find Stephen Colbert to be a funny person. To others, he's little more than a mouthpiece for the left, adding cliche punchlines to the ends of DNC talking points. In honor of Christmas, he chose to make an anti-Trump holiday cartoon, complete with evil rednecks and a Robert Mueller cameo.
Yes, really:
On CBS’s Thursday night broadcast of The Late Show, host Stephen Colbert aired a cartoon Christmas special in which Donald Trump, ICE agents, and a pro-Confederate criminal Santa team up to steal presents from all the world’s small children and enslave the North Pole’s elves to build a wall on America’s southern border. At the end of the day, Kris Kringle (as the real Santa Claus) and Robert Mueller are forced to team up to save Christmas by putting Trump in jail after finding proof of Russian collusion.
I'm not so sure these "comedians" are capable of doing anything other than spouting off leftist platitudes. "Trumpers are fat, racist, and wear camo. Republicans and ICE want to jack kiddies' presents and ruin their Christmas. They think immigrants should suffer. Orange man bad." Cue applause.
Also, I don't think I've ever seen so many straw men in such a short period of time. Normally, Christmas is about our petty differences melting away, with peace and good will taking their place. Not with lefties, though. Yuletide season for them is a time to dial the partisan dickery up to infinity. Hence, Robert Mueller riding shotgun in Santa's sleigh.
This third-rate political hackery is what now passes for comedy amongst lefties. Forget about knee-slappers which induce the chuckles. All you need to succeed in the joke-telling sphere is to read a CNN chyron verbatim. Pathetic.
