A media that praised a bureaucracy when it controlled Joe Biden all of a sudden has an issue with one of Donald Trump's advisors being "unelected." It was time for the White House Press Corps to get a lesson in civics from Prof. Stephen Miller, the WH deputy chief of staff.

After reminding the journalismers in the room how they managed to miss the previous president's obvious cognitive decline and how they never questioned who was running America then, Miller mentioned the left's new talking point that Cousin Elon is our shadow president of the United States. You know, the talking point that progressive billionaires coined as a political attack against one of our billionaires.

Class was now in session.

A president is elected by the whole American people. He’s the only official in the entire government that is elected by the entire nation, right? Judges are appointed. Members of Congress are elected at the district or state level. The Constitution, Article II has a clause known as the Vesting Clause. And it says the executive power shall be vested in a president, singular. The whole will of democracy is imbued into the elected president. That president then appoints staff to then impose that democratic will onto the government.

Let's set aside that the left and the media (but I repeat myself) have a point. It is true, as a point of fact, that no one elected Elon Musk. What they miss and where their talking point du jour is an epic fail is that we did indeed, as a point of fact, elect Donald Trump to APPOINT Elon Musk to do precisely what he's doing.

We also didn't elect Marco Rubio, Sean Duffy, Kash Patel, Tulsi Gabbard, Pete Hegseth, or Robert F. Kennendy Jr., While we're at it, we didn't elect Stephen Miller either. We elected the guy who would put these people in place to run things under his leadership. Personnel is policy, as the kids say.

I get that the media is lazy and frames their reporting based on the most recent messaging memo from progressive PR firms. But some basic knowledge of how things work wouldn't kill them.
