Like most of the environmental movement, paper straws are actually worse than their sippy plastic counterparts. Add the sucky devices to a growing list of things that are actually worse for the environment, but environmentalist sh!tsticks think are better. Hint: no, dummies. Seems the biggest problem facing humanity isn't one-use plastic bags or straws, but an unwillingness to think beyond what Bill Nye says while dressed as a stupid person. If environmentalists rechanneled their passion into thinking, maybe we wouldn't have to sip drinks through pencils or have our fries made with fat from vegetables, which don't really exist.
