"This isn't about what's best for America": Crowder exposes what these woke companies are really up to
Crowder closed out this week with a mega segment centered on the latest company to sponsor Dylan Mulvaney - Nike. Yes, if you haven't heard, Nike is paying Dylan to model women's leggings and sports bras. Despite the fact that Dylan lacks the body part that necessitates a sports bra. This is normal now.
Crowder set the scene by highlighting Bud Light's sponsorship of Mulvaney - specifically Kid Rock and Travis Tritt's reactions to the move, and how the majority of Americans agree with them. They don't like it. Crowder then explained how, now, patriotic Americans can support small, local businesses that produce alcohol instead of these mega woke corporations.
Crowder then brought up several more examples of companies that have gone woke and, subsequently, gone broke: Disney, Amazon, and the NFL. All of these companies lost massive amounts of money after embarking on woke missions. Crowder explained that they actually don't care, however, because they're "writing for the writer's room," not the actual customers. This brought him to the topic of ESG scores.
"You have these companies that are simply looking at this as a game [...] Think of Hollywood, these movies suck, but they're looking to open the market in China, they're looking to open markets elsewhere. And so this isn't about what's best for America at this point."
Crowder then brought it back to the point of supporting local communities over the global community, which is essentially globalism. Companies are willing to sustain short-term losses to shape the world in the way they think it should run, abiding by the rules of wokeism. This will, they believe, line their pockets in the long-term by creating a market that shares none of our patriotic values.
The full episode has so much more on this topic - plus, Elon Musk slapping NPR with a "state-run media" label, and the founder of CashApp getting fatally stabbed in San Francisco. So catch the whole show exclusively on Rumble.
