Color me shocked, ladies and gentlemen! Do you remember the story yesterday of the man who decided to randomly sucker punch some unsuspecting dude just minding his own business? It happened in New York City. I know it's difficult to remember a specific instance of crime in the Big Rotten Apple, but this was recent so maybe you'll recall it.

Well, we called it! The suspect who, let's be perfectly clear here, attempted to murder some random guy for no reason, was released without bail, reports the New York Post! In the immortal words of the late Billy Mays, "But wait! There's more!!" Not only was this convicted sex offender released without bail, but the charges he's facing for putting his victim into a coma have also been reduced! From attempted murder to assault and harassment! MISDEMEANORS!

This is just business as usual in New York City! This is a song and dance we've seen over and over again!
