Surprise! Fort Lauderdale Airport Shooter 'Did it For ISIS...'
Ever since Esteban Santiago went bananas and popped off in Fort Lauderdale Airport a few weeks ago, the feds have been trying to establish a motive. Well, consider that mystery solved. Esteban was killing in the name of, you guessed it, our old head-hacking buddies, ISIS...
Esteban Santiago, the man charged with killing five people at the Fort Lauderdale airport, told FBI agents he carried out the attack on behalf of ISIS, FBI special agent Michael Ferlazzo testified at Santiago's bond hearing Tuesday. The agent did not elaborate on whether Santiago was purporting to be linked to ISIS or simply inspired by the terrorist organization.
Federal authorities in Alaska said Santiago told them prior to the attack that he was hearing voices and that his mind was being controlled by the CIA. Santiago initially made similar claims during an interrogation following the shooting, but once he was transferred to the FBI office in Miramar, Florida, Santiago introduced the ISIS claim and never again mentioned mind control, Ferlazzo testified.
Ferlazzo, who conducted the interview in Miramar, said only that Santiago claimed to be fighting for ISIS and that he'd been in touch via jihadi chat rooms with like-minded people who were planning attacks as well.
So of course, ISIS. With a mixture of maybe a little mental instability. But let's be real here, if you get your jollies off by taking someone's head off, mental health isn't a top priority. Keeping your knives and axes, for said head hackery, ranks higher on your list of daily dos. Mayhaps ISIS loved ones should stage an intervention for the beheading addiction. Consult Real Wives of ISIS for ideas.
Once again those liberals who tried blaming guns, the NRA, white people or Christians were all wrong. But thanks for playing, you two-bellied twits.
The Fort Lauderdale shooter isn't a failure the Second Amendment, nor should it be blamed on those people who follow the teachings set forth by Jesus. If Estaban Santiago was in communication with the FBI about ISIS or hearing voices, and Estaban is former military, methinks the FBI should've kept a greater watch on him, no?
Look, we still don't' have all the details here. What we do know is Santiago got his Allahu Akbar on and killed five people. He's a terrorist. Can we say that yet? With his likely ISIS cred, methinks Estaban here joins the ranks of other terrorists like the San Bernardino Two, the Orlando Night Club Shooter, the Boston Marathon Bombers, and the Ohio State Shooter. Not the NRA.
Also, Estaban used a handgun. Not an AR-15. A handgun. Not an AK-47. A handgun. Clear?
ISIS doesn't even need to set a combat-booted foot in the USA to rack up a body count anymore. Not when they can take to the interwebs and smooth-talk idiot youngsters into doing their terrorizing for them. Jihad is a new fad to these dum-dums. Like being gender-fluid. Or dabbing. I daresay terrorist attacks on US soil have become more mainstream in the past 8 years. Or am I just a paranoid racist NRA member?
Let's examine the problem...
