In hopes of fixing racism, progressives in Los Angeles have been undergoing a number of radical social experiments on its citizens. But for some reason, these policies always seem to benefit criminals and career felons. And on top of that, their cries about institutional racism keep getting louder and louder.

One of the many moves progressives have undergone to fundamentally transform our criminal justice system was getting rid of no cash bail in Los Angeles. Because that was racist. And no, they did not come up with a more “fair” way to deal with flight from justice.

However, progressives did tell everyone and their grandmas this was just meant for people accused of stealing bubblegum or sneaking into the movies. Yet, that's not really how things have played out.

Los Angeles police are searching for 20-year-old Dashawn Dow, who has been arrested for robbery five times in the last 18 months. No surprise, he has posted bond each time.

“In the past 18 months, Dow has been arrested five times for robbery but was able to post bond following each arrest,” an LAPD statement said.

Coincidentally, Dow is now wanted in connection with two additional follow-home violent robberies that took place last month.

“On October 2, 2023, around 1:30 p.mVideo surveillance captured a gray Maserati following a male and female victim into the parking structure of their North Hollywood apartment complex. As the victims exited their vehicle, they were confronted by two armed suspects who demanded the victims’ property. Fearing for their lives, the victims complied with the suspects’ demands. The suspects then fled with the victims’ money and jewelry,” the statement reads.

Another incident occurred on Oct. 10, around 12:10 a.m., in the parking structure of another North Hollywood apartment complex. A man and a woman fell victim to a similar occurrence by two male suspects. One suspect forcibly tried to take one of the victims' watches, and when resisted, the other suspect brandished a gun against the victim's chest.

“Fearing for his life, the victim relinquished his property, and the suspects ran to a waiting getaway vehicle. Detectives believe that Dow was involved in both incidents and that he used a firearm in the commission of the crimes,” according to the statement.

Police said they believe Dow was involved in both incidents and used a firearm. He is still at large and police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Why is it that criminal justice reform somehow always ends up with violent crime increasing while victims’ rights decrease?

At the very least, elected officials in Los Angeles have their priorities backward as their policies don't seem to do much in regard to public safety.

This impact will probably be felt for decades to come. But hey, at least progressives can see they did everything they could possibly think of to fix racism.
