To claim James Talarico’s opinions are not popular among many Texas voters would be an understatement. This is why, if he were to be honest and genuine with voters, he would have zero chance of being elected. Undercover footage just confirmed the quiet part out loud -- which is that the man is all in for the leftist agenda, but will lie to make that come to fruition. But what else is new?

Calling the border a "welcome mat" is certainly a choice. It is just not a popular one, as far as Texas voters are concerned. And a "pathway to citizenship" will surely not do him any favors, which is why he is forced to lie to voters, as if that somehow puts him on the moral side of history.
