The latest company to ditch DEI now that Donald Trump is President? TARGET!
As the saying goes, “Go woke, go broke.” And no company knows that better than Target.
Target is the latest company to ditch its DEI mandates. This follows many other American corporations, including Walmart, McDonald’s, Tractor Supply, and more.

According to the Fox Business:
Target on Friday announced that it is scaling back its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies following President Donald Trump's executive order to review such initiatives. The move adds Target to a growing list of companies scaling back or eliminating their DEI efforts as these programs come under increased scrutiny.
Kiera Fernandez, Target's chief community impact and equity officer, said in a note to employees on Friday the retailer will implement changes as part of its "Belonging at the Bullseye" strategy that adapts to the evolving external landscape. This includes concluding its three-year DEI goals and ending its Racial Equity Action and Change (REACH) initiatives in 2025, as planned.
"As a retailer that serves millions of consumers every day, we understand the importance of staying in step with the evolving external landscape, now and in the future — all in service of driving Target’s growth and winning together," said Fernandez.
This comes after years of backlash from the unwoke mob, as the company partnered with some of the most reprehensible organizations ever.
In 2023, Target partnered with an education group that encourages school districts to implement policies that hide gender transitions from parents. In 2022, the company released pro-trans merch for kids, as well as chest binders and packing underwear. And all of that was in addition to their several-year mandate to implement racist hiring practices. And to say this company was on the path to destruction would be an understatement.

It’s not even possible to begin to explain the amount of controversy Target has been in lately.
In 2023, Target reportedly lost $15 billion after backlash from its Pride Month collection.Remember when @Target sold tucking swimwear for kids and their sales dropped, stock plunged, and they were sued by shareholders?
Apparently they didn’t learn their lesson cuz they just hired an LGBTQ activist to lead their “LGBTQIA+ multicultural merchandising strategy and pride… pic.twitter.com/wDZW7hshKi

This company really outdid itself the past few years, and it's pretty pathetic that it took them this long to finally come to terms with their sanity. It's unclear if they would have made this announcement had Kamala won, but I think we all know the answer to that.
That said, I think it's safe to say that 2025 will be the year corporate America becomes great again.
