BLM Supporter Tavis Smiley Ironically Talks 'Sanctity of Black Lives'...
Yesterday at the Republican National Convention, Sherrif David Clarke (badass of epic proportions), declared "blue lives matter." You know, in reference to police officers. Whose lives matter. To give you some context, David Clarke also addressed #BlackLivesMatter with notable dunce Don Lemon, in a manner we can best describe as a spanking. If that spanking used not an open hand, but a Mack truck.
But I digress. Tavis Smiley took issue with Clarke's declaration that "Blue lives matter," and had this response. Trigger-warning: you'll want to hit things. Move valuable electronics out of your swinging range.
It is always easy to find these sort of political sycophants who are willing to stand up and advance these sort of simple slogans and rosy rhetoric but can't get to a real conversation about what's at stake here. What's at stake here is not just the lives of cops. And there's no one in the country who doesn't believe that blue lives matter, indeed they do. The question is when do we get around to appreciating, to valuing the sanctity, the humanity, and the dignity of black life? That's what's at the stake. That's why Black Lives Matter is in the streets protesting. I think protest has its place. And when I hear the sheriff referring to the Black Lives Matter movement as anarchy, first of all I don't think that's the case, but if it is the case I think the Boston Tea Party could be called anarchy. But we wouldn't be here without it.
Okay, first of all, it's rich of Tavis to complain about people who issue "slogans" and rosy rhetoric. When he supports #BlackLivesMatter, who's entire basis of existence is a false slogan, based on a false narrative. Mainly "hands up, don't shoot." Never happened. Yet #BlackLivesMatter continues to tout it as they excuse their violence and their less than rosy rhetoric. But let's move on.
Tavis wants to get to the "real matters at stake here" and actually says, without humor: "When will we get to the value and sanctity of black lives?"
So much irony I'm going to get gout. Because as we've mentioned eleventy million times, if black lives mattered to #BlackLivesMatter, they'd pitch tents outside every abortion clinic in America, demanding Planned Parenthood and its smaller abortion clinic cousins stop butchering unborn black babies in record numbers. After their morning of protesting abortion, those same #BlackLivesMatter activists, who have such big hearts about black lives, can take a class field trip to Chicago or Baltimore, where there's rampant black-on-black crime.
But of course they won't do either, because all #BlackLivesMatter seems to care about is maligning cops (read Opinion: This is What Happens When You Malign Cops).
Of course Tavis keeps getting better and better. When I say "better" I mean moronic. Because he actually compares the acts of #BlackLivesMatter to the Boston Tea Party.
Except no. See, #BlackLivesMatter is calling for violence due to a false narrative established two years ago of "hands up don't shoot" (see above paragraphs), where the Boston Tea Party was the result of government tyranny of taxation without representation. Also, the Boston Tea Party was people boarding a ship in the Boston harbor and tossing tea. Off the ship. Into the harbor. Must I really explain the differences here?
Because I'd rather move onto the next point Tavis makes. When Brian "Lies About Everything" Williams asks about the tactics of #BlackLivesMatter, Tavis here says they're peaceful, but then says "well behaved people rarely get anything done." Not sure if he has an editing mechanism in his head or not, because that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. You know, because of "consistency."
So let me make this getting long post just a tad longer and bring it all in for a huddle. No, Tavis Smiley, #BlackLivesMatter is not peaceful (read BlackLivesMatter Activist Threatens to Shoot up School. Media Silent...). No, Tavis Smiley, #BlackLivesMatter doesn't give two craps about black lives mattering. If they did, if they cared about black lives as much as they allege, they would value all black lives. Unborn included. Victims of other black people included.
#BlackLivesMatter, dearest Tavis, cares about pushing a false narrative that cops are racist killers hunting unarmed black men. They do not care about facts of the cases for which they claim to champion (more on that below). What #BlackLivesMatter is seeking, based on my assessment, is chaos. They're stirring the pot. They're creating a hostile environment toward police officers. As to why, that again seems rather obvious. Why else would you spread falsities about police officers, why else would a group cling to a fake narrative, then pound it like a war drum?
But David Clarke saying "blue lives matter"... Yeah, I can see how that would tick you off. Shameless sarcasm there. Situation warranted it.
Speaking of #BlackLivesMatter being rabble-rousing turd patties, watch this video. It systematically debunks everything #BlackLivesMatter stands for. You're welcome.
