In the latest shockingly unshocking news, liberals are still protesting Trump. Worry not for the safety of your eyes, though. This time it isn't topless, frumpy shemales (see LOL: New York Liberals Upset About Trump. So They Go Topless?). Instead, these leftists are making a stand by... not paying their taxes! They promised they would keep their purse strings closed and turns out they're stupid enough to follow through (read Sore Losers at TIME Magazine Suggest Democrats Stop Paying Their Taxes. If Republicans Win...). No plot twists here.

A nascent movement has been detected to revive the popularity of tax resistance - last seen en masse in America during the Vietnam war. [Protesters] will pay city and state taxes but will refuse to pay federal income tax as a cry of civil disobedience against the president and his new administration.

"My tax money will be going towards putting up a wall on the Mexican border instead of helping sick people. It will contribute to the destruction of the environment and maybe more nuclear weapons. If you pay taxes you are implicated in the system," said [a protester].

Look, taxes are the worst - they're an unholy abomination of tedium and forcefulness. Much like many leftists themselves. Far be it from me to criticize someone for sticking it to the government in the taxation department (see HEROISM: Man Pays Taxes... With 300,000 Pennies!). Also, he or she who isn't appalled by how their tax dollars are being spent, cast the first grenade.

Of course, breaking the law tends to not be a good way to go. But did I miss the part where SJWs suddenly got jobs with which to pay taxes in the first place?

Nice try, liberals. Your mom forcing you to take out the trash once a week doesn't count as working. Nor does running a pastel goth Tumblr.

Also, I have several questions. Like what pit of primordial slime did you gutter imps ascend from? But that's more of a rhetorical one that I find myself asking daily. Feel free to get back to me on that one never. More importantly, who exactly would this protest be hurting? Take a gander at all the things relying on taxes (see 'My Body, Your Tax Dollar?' NY de Blasio Signs Law Mandating 'Free' Tampons). And human leeches (like leftist universities, or your local "underprivileged" family). Hint: it's not Republicans. We don't need your money to survive or accomplish things, on account of us having jobs and whatnot.

But by all means, leftists. "Stop" paying taxes. I get the feeling you lot don't contribute much in the first place. In fact, I doubt Pablo the 5th and his herd of children will notice whilst shopping for Twinkies at their local Cardena's. Was that racist? Meh. If the foodstamp fits.

Notice the thing these scuttling dunderheads are protesting. They're all measures poised to help the country - like increased national security and less business-killing regulations. Apparently, the left is angry because they want "their" tax money to be going towards a healthcare system that the people neither asked for nor benefit from. To which we award all the chuckles.

This protest is one of the silliest yet. Try again leftists. I want more social justice backlash to give me fits of giggles, especially during tax season. With which I'm sure you're unfamiliar.
