The US-of-A has achieved great milestones in culture and innovation. For instance, we invented the assembly line. We put a man on the moon. We even gave the world Hollywood... For which we apologize.

Well, America has just reached another milestone. This is a big one... Providing convicted murderers with sex change surgery. At the expense of the taxpayer.

A 57-year-old convicted killer serving a life sentence in California became the first U.S. inmate to receive state-funded sex-reassignment surgery, the prisoner’s attorneys confirmed Friday... California prison officials agreed in August 2015 to pay for the surgery for Shiloh Heavenly Quine, who was convicted of first-degree murder, kidnapping and robbery for ransom and has no possibility of parole.

Can't let this go. His name is Shiloh Heavenly Quine? That was not his given name, surely. If your name is "Shiloh" you can't ever be a killer. This has been confirmed by science. Also, why are we paying for Sweet Little Shiloh (now I'm making up my own names) a sex change if he's never to see the free world again? Anyone want to answer me that little riddle?

Quine’s case led the state to become the first to set standards that will allow other transgender inmates to apply to receive state-funded sex-reassignment surgery. It also prompted a federal magistrate to require California to provide transgender female inmates housed in men’s facilities with more female-oriented items such as nightgowns, scarves and necklaces.

Because heaven forbid you're in the slammer and not styling with the proper accessories. Handbags are a dudeladies best friend. I saw Coach advertising it. Here's hoping some of these guys to ladies have the finest scarves Hermes can provide. Silk. Go for silk.

“For too long, institutions have ignored doctors and casually dismissed medically necessary and life-saving care for transgender people just because of who we are,” said Kris Hayashi, executive director of the Transgender Law Center, which represents Quine and other transgender inmates.

These are your tax dollars at work, folks.

So, ol' bloodbath here wanted to rid himself of his pesky man parts. Fair enough, but why waste taxpayer dollars? I'm sure his victim's family would have been happy to oblige, free of charge. Less paperwork, more breasts. Who among us doesn't want the world to have more bewbs? Even if they are packed into pecs of the male variety? I dare you not to have nightmares after looking at our lead photo. Dare you.

The worst part of all this? It isn't the first time a transgender wastoid has demanded the state pay for their sex change. The left has fostered a climate suited perfectly to offering sex changes to anybody who feels so inclined. Including the murderous...

Conveniently, a large percentage of those inmates? They vote Democrat. One can't help but sense a bit of a connection here.
