If your children are attending public schools, they are not safe from the left. It doesn’t matter what age your child is or whether you’re in a red or blue state; there is a cohort of teachers throughout the system—in every state, in every school—out to confuse and indoctrinate your kids. Texas has been dealing with events that make as much perfectly clear, and now a video of an elementary school teacher in Kansas does, as well.

Situated near Kansas City is Trailwood Elementary School. And at Trailwood Elementary, teachers believe it is their responsibility to teach your children about gender and sexuality because, hey, they have cell phones.

“They’re ready to learn about it whether you think they are or not. And the research says that there is no age too young to talk about pretty much anything. […] There is no what we think is always ‘age-appropriate.’ It is if they don’t know about it. […] But once they’re exposed to it, and social media is going to do it—I know some kindergartners in this school with cell phones. […] There are students as early as kindergarten who are identifying as non-gender-conforming, non-binary, transgender. Because they are in our schools, they’re in our classrooms, […] it becomes my responsibility to be inviting to them.”

That’s a long quote, but there’s a lot there to address. First, yes, there is certainly an age too young to discuss certain topics. Kids don’t come downloaded with the requisite knowledge to understand certain topics. Sexuality and gender theory nonsense are perfect examples of topics young children, especially kindergartners are not equipped to learn about. It serves only to confuse and destabilize them.

Next, if you’re giving your freakin’ kindergartner a cell phone, you’re a bad parent. I don’t care what kind of heat I get for this. You are a terrible parent if you are handing your child a smartphone at such an age because they will be inundated with this kind of garbage. TikTok and YouTube are filled with this and other depraved types of content. If you want to ensure your child is confused and hates you by the time they hit high school, hand them a cell phone.

Third, there is no child identifying as anything. They don’t understand what any of it means. You can ask a child what it means to be a boy, and he’ll say something about how he likes Spiderman or something equally superficial. They don’t have any concept of their gender or anyone’s gender, for that matter. To say kids are identifying as anything is to say their parents are mentally and emotionally abusing them. That’s it.

And finally, the only responsibility of a teacher—and this goes for educators at every level, be it K-12 or college—is to educate students, to provide them with the requisite information necessary to be successful and productive members of the human race. That’s it. That’s where the responsibilities of teachers end. And the only time this includes a discussion of sex is in the literal instruction on biology. There is not and never will be a need to talk about the litany of make-believe sexualities and genders. Never.

Although I don’t find it the least surprising this has infected schools in my state, I do find it disgusting that the children in my family and those of my friends must now deal with it. I’ve been telling them for years to homeschool. Maybe they’ll take my advice now.
