One of the criticisms against school mask mandates, other than all the studies and data against them, is that kids don't even wear or handle the masks properly. One substitute teacher in Las Vegas, allegedly, found a solution to that. Tape the mask to the student's face. That's the accusation being made by an understandably horrified parent. I was furious, furious. I was scared for my son on what kind of long-term effect it is going to have on him socially, the fact that the entire class was laughing.

[My son] went to get a sip of water, forgot to put the mask on. The teacher did not tell him to put it back on or send him to the office, she instead pulled him up in front of the classroom in front of all of the students and she then taped the mask across the top of his face.

The mother goes on to say that, according to her son, at least five other students also had their masks taped to their faces. The good news is that the school district is aware of the situation and is on the case! Quote: "The district is aware of the isolated incident and is dealing with the employee through the proper channels."

It is unclear what those proper channels are. If it isn't the teacher being fired, blacklisted, and forced to stay twenty yards away from minors at all times, they aren't very proper. Though I guess at the end of the day, at least the student not wearing a mask wasn't treated as an active shooter situation like they do in California.

The media has been reporting on the school mask mandates as the new front in the "culture wars." A culture war is what it's called when average Americans are vocal in opposition to something the progressive left wants and wishes average Americans would shut up about. In this case, Joe Biden and the people who control Joe Biden are obsessed with making sure your kids are masked at all times. If you are a parent who disagrees because you have eyes and reading comprehension skills, you're viewed as the problem.

A teacher was accused of taping a mask to a kid's face because it was off momentarily. Ten bucks say there are people in this school district's mommy group on Facebook who view the teacher as a hero.
