I guess we should consider ourselves lucky. It's a public school, so this could have been part of the curriculum. Or involve the teacher WITH a student. Instead, it's just a lonely substitute teacher shopping for sex toys while class is in session and not realizing her smartboard is on.

TheNew York Post obtained the video. Here's what happened. The smartboard connects to the teacher's computer so everything on the computer gets displayed to the class. Oldheads might be more familiar with an overhead projector. Same concept. The teacher was lecturing students about Garett Morgan, the inventor of the traffic light. If you got bored reading that sentence, you know how the class must have felt. The teacher was bored, too, and started shopping for sexual enhancers. The rub is (no pun intended) the teacher was so bored she forgot the smart board was on.

This is when a litany of bulbous and phallic-looking insertion devices was displayed to a classroom full of high school students. One student, a future content creator in the making, took out his smartphone and started recording the unfortunate incident. Because let's be honest, you're in high school and your teacher is shopping for sex toys. That's awesome.

Unlike the room full of teenagers, the school did NOT find it as awesome. The district assured parents that they were dismayed by the teacher's actions and that they have "taken this matter very seriously and action has been taken."

I just hope the teacher completed her purchase. She's more than likely unemployed now, but at least she'll have a few things with which to distract herself.
