Teamsters Refuse To Release Endorsement After Members Pick Trump In Landslide Union Vote
Teamsters has endorsed in every presidential election since 1996. In 2020, the union endorsed Biden. This year, there will be no endorsement after the member vote was cast overwhelmingly in favor of Trump.
In other words, by the union heads refusing to endorse Trump they have endorsed Trump.
JUST IN: Teamsters will *not* endorse for president after their member polling gave Donald Trump an overwhelming lead over Kamala Harris.
Electronic Member Poll:
Trump: 59.6%
Harris: 34.0%

According to The Hill:
The International Brotherhood of Teamsters will not issue an endorsement in the presidential election for the first time since 1996, and for only the second time since 1960.
Teamsters General President Sean O’Brien said “neither major candidate was able to make serious commitments to our union to ensure the interests of working people are always put before Big Business.”
Hmmm. Membership votes seem to disagree on that one.
“We sought commitments from both Trump and Harris not to interfere in critical union campaigns or core Teamsters industries — and to honor our members’ right to strike — but were unable to secure those pledges,” O’Brien said.
The Teamsters endorsed Biden during the 2020 election, and has consistently supported Democratic presidential nominees in recent election cycle.
There have been several instances where the union has endorsed Republican candidates, such as Nixon and Reagan. However, they are refusing to officially endorse Trump even though that’s what the membership wants.
So much for the union representing the will of its members.
Trump received nearly 60 percent of the vote, while Biden received 44 percent in 2020. Many of these members are “lifelong” democrats. That is how bad things are for the left, as even people who ‘vote blue no matter who’ are not voting blue.
The real scandal is not that Kamala lost; it’s that the head of the union is slapping its members in the face because they voted for Trump. So while many of them refused to cast their union vote for the candidate that was undemocratically selected, the union is overriding their democratic process in the most undemocratic election in American history.
What a coincidence.
None of that even matters, as by not endorsing anyone they have endorsed Trump. It’s as simple as that.
