I struggle to write about the border crisis because the story has been almost literally the same for the past two years. It's easier to copy old posts and change the dates. We even have content from LAST SPRING about Title 42 expiring. But I'm a sucker for a good "Ted Cruz goes berserker rage on a smug reporter" videos. Plus it's a common theme from the corporate, regime-aligned press. Republicans won't do what Joe Biden wants to do. Therefore they aren't fixing the issue.

First, here's Cruz going schnikt-schnikt on the media.

Here's the thing. Besides having a ton of border crisis content? We have a ton of Ted Cruz speaking out about the Biden border crisis content. While Joe Biden has been ignoring the problem while also claiming it Republican's fault for not having a plan, Cruz has been clear about what the fix is.

If you want to fix the border, it starts with doing the exact opposite of everything Biden has done since being sworn in. This is all as of April 2021. Less than three months of Biden in office.

Number one, the first week in office, Joe Biden immediately halted construction on the border wall.

The second decision the Biden administration made was to reinstate the failed "Catch and Release" policy. So that now when individuals are apprehanded, they're given a court date sometime in the future. They're released. And everyone knows only a very small percentage will show up for that court date.

And third, probably most inexplicable, Joe Biden ended the "Remain in Mexico" international agreement. President Trump had negotiated with Mexico an agreement that individuals from Central America who are crossing illegally through Mexico would remain in Mexico while their asylum cases were proceeding in the United States.

Ted Cruz and other Republicans have been clear on how to fix the border. The left just doesn't like what the plan is because it would fix the border.

In April 2022, the last time Title 42 was about to expire, DHS was estimating 18,000 illegal migrants crossing the border every day, Imagine after another year of Biden's incompetence what the number will be today.
