Seeing as the Russia investigation turned out to be a giant bust, you'd expect the left to call it a day and move on with their lives. Me, I'm not so sure it's gonna be that simple. Ted Cruz doesn't seem to think so either. He's onto the left's strategy:

Listen, if anyone thinks that the Mueller report being concluded is the end of the Democrats’ attempt to take down President Trump, they haven’t been paying attention the last two years. It’s striking as I listened to your interview with Congressman Nadler that he was immediately pivoting away.

He then turned back to Bash, saying, “You asked Congressman Nadler whether the House is going to impeach the president. I’ll answer that for you. Yes. They fully intend to impeach the president and they don’t care about the basis.”

Well, looks as though Teddy-boy summed that one up perfectly.

With the Russia investigation wrapping up, you'd think the left would get out of the impeachment business and try winning on their ideas. The problem is doing so would require lefties to actually have good ideas in the first place. Which is probably asking too much of them.

The left's strategy, if you can call it that, is some variation of "Orange Man bad." Progressives seem to have little interest in debating issues using facts and logic. Instead, lefties opt for screeching sounds and slinging metaphorical poop at the right. Though it wouldn't surprise me if, in the near future, the left makes the transition from metaphorical to literal.

Unfortunately, as Ted Cruz suggests, you can expect this strategy to toss Trumpy out on his Cheeto-colored posterior to continue.
