Apparently Bernie Sanders enjoyed having Ted Cruz pull his pants down and expose his shame so much the last time on national television (see Ted Cruz Uses Actual Numbers. Completely DESTROYS Bernie Sanders! and WATCH: Ted Cruz Talks Pulverizing Bernie Sanders at Obamacare Debate!), he agreed to another CNN debate. This time, they debated taxes.

Bernie opened up with the usual leftist Robin Hood "take from the rich, give to the poor" comparison.

Ted Cruz was of course prepared.

In his opening, Bernie invoked Robin Hood. And I've got to say, I think he fundamentally misunderstood that story. Robin Hood was robbing the tax collectors, who were collecting to much from the working men and women and taking it for the rich. In Bernie's analogy, it is the Democrats who are King John and the Sheriff of Nottingham. And Robin Hood is saying, "Tax collectors, stop hammering people who are struggling, who are laboring in the fields, who are working...stop taking it to the castle to give out to your buddies."

Of course, Cruz was really just biting off of the boss's rhymes from seven years ago.

But still, it's always good to see Bernie get shut down.
