Ted Cruz is a stand up guy. Recently TMZ asked him if he thinks we'll ever see a president who hasn't gone to an Ivy League school like Princeton or Harvard. His response? Nothing short of greatness.

The presidency is not about what school you went to. The presidency is about if you stand with the American people. People are tired with politicians who sell them down the river, and they're looking for the record of who will stand with the working men and women of this country. Who will stand up to fight for the Constitution, fight for their freedom.

Props to the reporter for trying to get a comment on Trump calling Cruz a p**** while walking around the sacred US senate halls. TMZ's ignorance of boundaries and manners could have been useful for once. So close.

Whether he's defending the safety of our women or stressing the importance of legal immigration, you can be sure he's not going to give in to political correct garbage in order to appeal to the left. Cruz even went against ethanol subsidies in Iowa and WON (read The Real Reason Ted Cruz was the Big Winner in Iowa).

In case you haven't noticed, we like Ted Cruz. Is he perfect? No, because no one is. But we like people who have a solid foundation in the values that make America exceptional and seek to ensure those values live on. It's a breath of fresh air in the face of stinky leftists, who would like to drop the Constitution like a bad fashion trend if they had their way. Fortunately, there are still politicians out there who are willing to commit their lives to guarantee the survival of freedom.
