Ted Cruz Like You've Never Seen. Throws Gauntlet on Obama and Refugee Crisis
This week, on Louder With Crowder, we welcome Senator Ted Cruz in an exclusive, full-length, unedited interview. Some transcript highlights below, but the video is worth a watch. This is Ted Cruz unbuttoned, uncensored, and like you've never seen him.
On his direct challenge to Obama's attacks on him regarding Syrian refugees.
"Yesterday he attacked me, said I was 'un-American', today he attacked me and said I was ‘offensive'. All because I’m saying what millions of Americans are saying across this country”“I think it is lunacy when this administration can’t vet them, has no idea who among them might be ISIS terrorists, but because of political correctness they want to bring them here anyway.”
On how he's perceived in the media.
“This is me, the media doesn’t want to show it. The media always wants to paint Republicans as either stupid or evil. And I guess for me I’m somewhat encouraged they invented a third category for me which is ‘crazy’"
On explaining the historical/political context of Climate Change
“Now Climate Change for a politician who wants power over your life is the perfect pseudo-scientific theory because it can never be disproven. If it gets hotter or colder, wetter or drier, whatever happens the magic theory is always right, and interestedly enough their solution is exactly the same as Global Cooling and Global Warming, it is massive government power over you and me and everybody else."
He also discusses his love for Van Halen, Pink Floyd, Princess Bride and how he balances his faith and compassion with a strong stance on national security.
I will say this, I've been unsure about Ted Cruz's electability for a while. On policy and principle, I align with him more than any other candidate. But to the undecided, he's come across as a little stiff and manufactured. It was pivotal to become more relatable, and interactive. With this interview, he changed my mind.
Given the proper amount of time on a stage, I think this man would embarrass Hillary Clinton. I stand corrected.
