Ted Cruz Owns the New York Times on Charlottesville With Single Tweet...
After what happened in Charlottesville (see Car Crash into Counter-Protesters in Charlottesville Treated as 'Criminal Homicide' and Ted Cruz on Charlottesville: Prosecute This Grotesque Act of Domestic Terrorism), there was the usual "why won't you denounce" noise from media. Let me first say that the media acting like doucheburgers with extra special sauce is NO REASON to not denounce nazis and white supremacists. But I understand why conservatives don't like the game. The left is never asked to play it, and no denouncing from the right is ever good enough.
Exhibit Q comes from a reporter from the New York Times. Not a leftist clickbait tabloid like Buzzfeed or HuffPo or Vox. The New York Times. The totally unbiased paper of record.
Sorry to be cynical, but most of all Rubio and Ted Cruz to me seem mostly to be doing a tremendous job of posturing for 2020.— Eric Lipton (@Eric Lipton) 1502645711.0
When this is seriously your response to Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio calling out evil for being evil, remember it the next time you ask "why won't (solve for x) denounce?"
A point I'm sure Mr. Lipton will remember after Ted Cruz became his daddy.
Gosh, you're right. Because Nazis & the Klan have such love for Cuban-Americans. If only we worked for a paper that… https://t.co/aHXBrKTC2V— Ted Cruz (@Ted Cruz) 1502677682.0
Wait, I'm not done.
One more.
Update the New York Times Wikipedia page, because the entire company is now OWNED by Ted Cruz.
This was a much needed spanking. Kudos to the Senator. The left has been busy scrambling to make sure every conservative and their dog has spoken out against the disgusting acts that went down in Charlottesville. They've made their list and they're checking it twice. But when Republicans do condemn racism and nazism, they're accused of virtue signaling and posturing themselves for political opportunity. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
And the left wonders why we don't take them seriously...
