Ted Cruz can be the ultimate sass factory. It comes in handy when melting liberal faces... Something he does often. In his spare time and on the job. Speaking of which, in a recent Morning Joe segment, Ted put said sass on display. The left has homed in on the "Russia controversy" for months now. You know, the idea the Trump admin has close ties to the Rooskies, which may or may not be an actual thing. The only problem? Leftists keep getting caught faking the evidence, like... a lot (see THUG LIFE: Donald Trump Body Slams BuzzFeed, CNN for Fake Russian 'Report'). It's not stopping them from flinging accusations (and dung) though.

Their latest target? Jeff Sessions... Who's since recused himself from a Russian investigation amid all the harassment (read DESPERATE MUCH? Media, Democrats Say Jeff Sessions Lied About Secret Russian Ties). Hardly surprising, considering he's never been a favorite of theirs. After a morning of unnecessary panic and pointed fingers, Morning Joe decided to get Ted Cruz's take on the whole thing. His response is epic...

JOE: Are you concerned...?

SENATOR: You know, Joe, I'm not concerned about that. I think what we're seeing is a lot of political theater. This morning everyone's in high dungeon about this meeting... the underlying meeting? It's a nothing burger. It's what senators do every day, meeting with foreign ambassadors. That's part of the job. I think everyone's getting all worked up because it's a chance to beat up the Attorney General and it's a chance to beat up the President... But he's simply doing his job.

A few things worth noting here. Ted Cruz points out that meeting with foreign ambassadors (aka "foreign officials") is a regular part of being a senator. He would know, what with his being a senator and all.

In other words, it's likely that Jeff Sessions was simply doing his job. Career duties? Unthinkable for jobless liberal cretins, I know. Time to put on your thinking caps and use your imagination.

An important point: Ted Cruz has his own political aspirations. See also his run for President. Therefore it would be utterly foolish to come to the defense of a fellow senator who was hiding Russian ties, no? Ted Cruz is many things. Stupid isn't one.

Keep in mind, liberals aplenty have vowed to do anything within their power to stop the Trump admin. They've also made a habit out of making a big stink out of nothing. But don't take my word for it, take a gander yourself. Here's a few relevant tidbits of information...
