Sonderborg, if you're wondering, is near an asylum center. As we know, areas with concentrated numbers of Muslim refugees are super rapey. Perhaps that's why this woman had more than lipstick in her purse. That, of course, is where she went wrong.

While the man had pinned her to the ground and attempted to undress her, the victim used pepper spray to stop the attack. After managing to survive and report the incident to police, Denmark officials told her what a heroic badass she was for dropping that punk. #GirlPower

Just kidding, the woman is actually being charged. For using pepper spray. Against a rapist.

Local police spokesman Knud Kirsten told TV Syd: 'It is illegal to possess and use pepper spray, so she will likely to be charged for that.'

The man who attacked the girl fled from the scene and has not yet been charged. It is unclear if the man was an asylum seeker or refugee.

I guess it's illegal to rape someone, but it's illegaler to use pepper spray. Dually noted. Also, good to know if you're a rapist. Not only will your victim be without a gun, she should also be without anything which might sting your eyes. Nothing helps a rapist more than clear, unobstructed vision.

Perhaps Denmark would've preferred this young woman scared away the rapist by hurling bacon at him. Or at least replacing cries for help with piggish squeals.

There's a lesson to be learned here. Well, besides the fact that Denmark kind of sucks. Laws mean jack to criminals. Just ask the woman who went pepper-spray happy on her would-be rapist. A society which says "You can't have weapons, they're dangerous. But good luck with the whole rape thing," sounds a lot like rape culture. Especially combined with Islam. In fact it's a recipe for rape culture. Even if wrapped in bacon.
