An Airbnb guest has been dubbed “the tenant from hell” as she has been squatting at a guest house in a mansion for more than 540 days.

Sascha Jovanovic had his $3.8 million mansion that overlooks the Hollywood Hills hijacked by an unwanted guest who refuses to leave after spending more than 540 days in the home unless she is paid $100,000.

Jovanovic rented his guesthouse out on Airbnb in Sept. 2021 to Elizabeth Hirschhorn, and the woman just never left.

“I tried to be a kind host,” Jovanovic said to the Los Angeles Times. “I had no idea she would become what she has become.”

A judge has also ruled the property owner has no right to evict the “tenant” under Los Angeles’ Just Cause Ordinance. Subsequently, he would be required to pay her a relocation fee to remove her.

According to the Los Angeles Times, in an email to Jovanovic’s lawyer, Hirschhorn’s attorney, Amanda Seward, stated that “$100,000 is [Jovanovic] cheapest way of getting of the whole ordeal.”

“It is the home of the tenant until the landlord gets a judgment, however distasteful that is to your client.” her attorney, Colin Walshok told the LA Times.

Right, because the loser tenant bought the mansion. She is nothing more than total scum.

“The landlord broke the law and tried to make money by renting out an illegal bootleg unit.” Walshok added, “After he was caught, instead of doing the right thing, he has resorted to bullying, harassment and the filing of frivolous lawsuits containing elaborate false stories, all in an attempt to cover his tracks.”

The lack of self-awareness is astounding. They are really claiming the property owner broke the law and his mansion is some “bootleg unit.” Do you mean the bootleg unit your client refuses to leave?

Get real.

However, Sebastian Rucci, Jovanovic’s attorney, has a different point of view.

“She’s the tenant from hell,” he said. “If she’s right, the theory is that if a landlord has something that isn’t permitted, then you can stay in it rent-free forever.”

The City alleged that the guest house shower was not up to code.

I am having trouble finding the part in the Constitution that allows a local government to take your property rights away because a shower was not up to code.

Jovanovic told the LA Times that he does not feel safe to be on his own property.

“I can never go into my home and know that I’m safe when a potentially hostile person is living there,” he said. “I’m thinking about it all the time.”

The City also said there were a couple of construction issues that made the building not code compliant. Essentially, this means there may be some safety issues. But rather than force the women to leave so it could be fixed, they allowed her to squat while she refused to allow Jovanovic to fix the code issues.

The City then subsequently fined him for not fixing the issues.

That is about how logical the City of Los Angeles runs, in case you were wondering.

Jovanovic has now filed at least four complaints against Hirschhorn. This includes the breach of lease, damages the crazy "tenant" caused, negligence, and trespassing.

The city essentially enabled this crazy woman's behavior by allowing her to stay in the unit, even though they alleged there were safety concerns.

In other words, they are allowing her to live in a building that may impose a safety risk. The level of insanity here is astounding.

Progressives basically manipulate the law so they can seize someone's private property and redistribute it to some degenerate psycho who did nothing to deserve it.

It really is sick how they just reward the “tenants” disgusting behavior.

You cannot come up with a more perfect example of socialism than this.
