Tennessee Office of Homeland Security Issues ‘Officer Safety Bulletin’ To Multiple State Law Enforcement Agencies In Response To Bomb Threat Targeting “Trump Supporters”
- An Officer Safety Bulletin was recently issued in response to a “Guardian Incident Report” received by the Memphis Office of the FBI on February 29th, 2024
- It is alleged that Benjamin Matthew Dayton sent “Concerning statements to his mother via text message”
- Dayton: “Have been thinking an awful lot about rigging my van and bombing trump supporters.”
- Law Enforcement is currently on the lookout for a “tan in color 1995 G20 passenger van” with Illinois plates
- Officers are being advised to “exercise caution” if contact is made with Dayton
- According to the the OSB, Dayton has a history of “suicidal and homicidal ideations” and has “mentioned trying to obtain a firearm.”

The Officer Safety Bulletin (OSB) was issued following a Guardian Incident Report provided by the Memphis Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation on February 29th, 2024. FBI officials The OSB states that the bulletin has been circulated to law enforcement agencies in Tennessee and the surrounding states.
Louder with Crowder spoke to Special Agent Andrew Cannito who confirmed he was aware of Benjamin Matthew Dayton but would not speak further on the investigation or the OSB.
