The Texas Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed efforts to temporarily block the state’s ban on performing sex-change treatments and surgeries on minors, clearing the way for the measure to take effect Friday.

Last week, Texas District Judge Maria Cantú Hexsel issued a temporary injunction against the bill saying it “infringes upon the Texas Constitution’s guarantees of equality under the law by enacting a discriminatory and categorical prohibition on evidence-based medical treatments for transgender youth.”

It is pretty ridiculous for Hexsel to claim this is some sort of “evidence-based medical treatment” since they only started performing these Frankenstein surgeries en masse the past several years. And it was NEVER done on children, especially to this extent.

"These unproven medical interventions are emphatically pushed by some activists in the medical and psychiatric professions despite the lack of evidence demonstrating medical benefit, and even while growing evidence indicates harmful effects on children’s mental and physical welfare," the attorney general's office said in a statement upon its appeal.

Children do not have the capacity to see the ramifications of their decisions in the future. They don’t understand that they may one day regret that they have chemically castrated themselves.

We see grown adults regretting their sex change surgeries, yet progressives want to permanently destroy children’s bodies and sterilize them. That is just pure evil.

Kids are not even allowed to get tattoos but is it ok for them to cut off perfectly healthy body parts?

It is the responsibility of adults to safeguard them until they have acquired a level of common sense that enables them to make decisions that won't have long-lasting repercussions.

Progressives claim that if your child attempts to engage in sports typically associated with the opposite gender, they could be displaying signs of being transgender. They claim that sex is independent of gender and that gender is socially constructed.

If that were true, then there would be nothing to transition to. If sex and gender are two completely different things, why are they forcing ‘trans’ kids to align their gender with their sex?

If gender is a social construct, then the idea of gender identity as an inherent sense of self is impossible. It can’t be both a product of cultural influence and a natural aspect of someone's identity. If gender is shaped by culture, how can it also be an inherent characteristic of each person?

But we all know, that if the left didn’t have double standards, then they would have no standards at all.
